Consultation

While every service begins with a consultation, for some clients, the guidance we provide is all they need to move forward with their vision. These consultations will be conducted in person and last approximately 90 minutes. During our time together, we can advise on any design-related challenges. Topics include but are not limited to: general project feedback and guidance, budgeting considerations, problem solving, insight on material selections, space planning, best practices, trade recommendations, general construction process and execution and much more.

New Builds and Renovations

No matter the scope of the project, we work with you to transform the space in its entirety. Our team handles every detail. From conceptual design to execution, our team works hand-in-hand with architects, builders, and trades to create floor plans and elevations, select materials, and provide on-site project leadership throughout construction. We can work with partners you have chosen, or help build your team from the list of people we've trusted over 20 years in the business. Our designs are curated for our client's taste, budget, and timeline. This service is ideal for clients undertaking a new construction or extensive renovation project.

Furnishings and Interiors

Perfect for clients who want to design a new look or use case for their space, but do not require the services of a general contractor--- a living room refresh, a unique powder room, or a warm and welcoming new bedroom. We look at every space as an opportunity for impactful design. These projects typically involve furnishings, lighting, window treatments, and wall coverings.

Construction Management

In addition to design services, our team can help manage the full construction process for a client. We work to be the main hub of communication between client, designer, architect, contractor and trades to keep projects on time, on budget and executed to perfection. Project management of your build can include: organization and communication of weekly project progress, timeline development and management, material orders and tracking, prioritizing critical path items, clarifying questions and gaining consensus from architect/ builder/client, budget analysis and tracking, coordinating team approvals and more.

OUR PROCESS

We believe the opportunity to design a new space is something to be celebrated. The process should be one that is filled with delight. We work to make the process engaging, creative and seamless.

01

Phase One

We begin with a collaborative client and design interview via phone to make sure we're a good fit to bring the ideas you have for your space to life.

We love discussing possibilities, sharing ideas, brainstorming with you, and getting your input. We’ll share what we see for opportunities for increasing space, reconfiguring, bringing out the potential, or expansion.

This is a great opportunity to gain clarity and see the potential in your space. We help present options you’ve never even thought of

After the consultation, you'll receive a Design Fee Proposal and agreement to secure your spot on the design calendar.

02

Phase Two

Next, we enter project planning mode. Be prepared for most of this phase to happen behind the scenes as we dive in to create a complete design concept tailored just for your space and needs. We will present you with a visual mockup so you can start to see your design come to life.

We’ll show you how we intend to bring flow, function, and light into your space and use any existing pieces you want to incorporate into the design. The design will include samples, elevations, and renderings to be presented for your approval. We like to invite clients to come into our workshop for these meetings. We have curated a workshop space for our clients, partner architects, contractors, and partners to come together to develop ideas. We invite you into our space so you can learn more about how we work and take a look at a breadth of materials that can inspire your project.

03

Phase Three

We know that keeping projects on time and on budget is critical. Transparency in the process and on finances is core to our business. Once the design is approved, we create a budget list, so you know exactly what to expect. If adjustments need to be made, we work to value engineer to help you make intentional investments that make the most impact.

04

Phase Four

Once our vision and budget are completely aligned with yours, we'll oversee the complete management of the execution of your project. We offer you an organized, strategic, well-thought-out plan and timeline that maps out each step along the way. From choosing the right furnishings for any room to ensuring the perfect tile and countertop materials are installed properly and on time. You can trust our project management skills to mediate between subcontractors, vendors, custom fabric makers, and artists of all kinds to provide creative solutions, offer resourceful problem-solving, and stay on track.

05

Phase Five

Finally, our vision becomes reality. When your home is ready for soft goods, we'll be on-site to arrange furniture and style your space. At your final walkthrough, we'll compile a list of outstanding items to be completed, if necessary. Welcome home.
